Coventry Job Fest is back and coming to Bell green!
These events are designed to help residents meet local employers, apply for job roles on the day and find out more about free training opportunities. Whether you're looking for work, thinking about a career change or just wanting to see what's out there, this event is for you.
Everyone is welcome and you can drop-in at any time.
What you'll find at Job Fest:
- you can meet employers face-to-face and apply for roles with no CV needed. This includes areas like business administration, hospitality and early years/childcare roles
- free training and skills support, whether that's a short course, work-related learning, apprenticeships or just help to boost your confidence and job-readiness
- friendly staff who can help talk you through next steps and how to register for support
- support from local health services to help you with things like lifestyle advice and tips on staying healthy
- Have-a-go activities like boxing and cycling
British Cycling taster session - 1pm to 4pm
Whether you're a regular rider or haven't been on a bike for years, come and join the fun! Adults and children are welcome to take part in this free cycling taster session. Try out cycling activities, build your confidence, learn new skills, and discover how British Cycling can help you get active and enjoy cycling more. The British Cycling team will be on hand outside North Point Church. Simply drop by for a chat. Whether you'd like to have a go on a bike or find out more about the activities, programmes and support available, they'll be happy to help.
ABC Boxing demonstration and activities - 2pm to 4pm
Come along and experience the excitement of boxing with local club ABC Boxing. Coach Damon will be at North Point Church on Roseberry Avenue from 2pm to 3pm before leading a session at Bell Green Working Men’s Club from 3pm to 4pm. You'll have the chance to try some boxing activities, watch a live demonstration, and find out more about training opportunities and how to get involved. Adults and children are welcome. Simply drop by and say hello. Damon will be available to chat about the club, demonstrate activities, and help anyone who would like to have a go in a friendly and supportive environment. No experience is needed, and adults and children are welcome to take part.
