Find out if you are eligible and how to apply

Will I be eligible for mobility credits?

To be eligible you need to satisfy these criteria:

  1. You need to be a resident of one of the following Coventry Wards:
    • Earlsdon
    • Foleshill
    • Holbrook
    • Radford
    • Sherbourne
    • St Michael’s
    • Upper Stoke
    • Whoberley

The scheme is limited to specific areas of Coventry. Air quality concerns in the city are specific to certain areas, and we want to improve air quality in those places first. We also want to make sure that participants in the scheme have access to the best possible transport options. If you are not sure which ward you live in, you can also check this using our online checker.

Your car must either of these specifications:

  • be a diesel car that was registered for the first time in the UK before 2016 – the majority of these cars are not Euro 6 compliant
  • be a petrol car that was registered for the first time in the UK before 2011 – the majority of these cars are not Euro 5 compliant

And also:

  • have been registered in your name since 1st April 2020 or earlier
  • have a current valid MOT certificate

We are looking to take vehicles that pollute the most off Coventry roads. You can check your vehicle logbook document to find out more details about the date when your vehicle was first registered in the UK.
