COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

All permits that were due to expire in Zones WR, WG and H2 have been extended until 31 July. You can apply for new permits for these zones from 6 July.

Changing your permit

Please note we are changing from MiPermit as our permit supplier and our Permit Portal is currently offline whilst this is carried out. If you need to change your permit, or enquire about a new permit please email.

We have created a number of Residents' Parking Schemes. These zones aim to protect on-street parking spaces outside people's houses, in areas where parking is limited, and problems are caused by parking by commuters and shoppers, etc. Parking in a Residents' Parking Zone when it is in operation without a valid permit is not allowed and you are likely to get a parking ticket. If you do have a parking permit you should be aware that this does not guarantee you a place to park your vehicle, it only gives you permission to do so if space is available.
