Multi-agency child-centred approach
Multi-agency input is a vital component in supporting students accessing Coventry Alternative Provision (CAP). It involves coordinated efforts from education providers, social care, health services and other relevant agencies to ensure that each student receives tailored support that addresses their academic, emotional and social needs.
This collaborative approach helps identify barriers to learning early, facilitates appropriate interventions and promotes positive outcomes by ensuring that no aspect of a student's wellbeing is overlooked. Regular communication and shared planning between agencies underpin the success of alternative provision placements, fostering a holistic and inclusive environment for vulnerable learners.
