This awareness session is for the 3-day Sprint Ahead Tailored Support Programme on Wednesday 17 September, Thursday 18 September and Friday 19 September 2025
Day 1 – Communication and Time Management
Day 2 – Teamwork and Customer Journey
Day 3 – Equality and Diversity and CV writing with interview tips - request where possible that all Job Shop referrals have a CV then AES staff delivering can work with the individuals to show them how to adapt their CV to the job description for which they are applying.
Tailored Support Programme Awareness Event for NHS Healthcare Support Worker Apprentices - Tuesday 16 September from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm
Tailored Learning Route to support NHS Apprentice recruitment.
Book your customers on to this Awareness Event to see how the tailored support can assist in getting a NHS Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship role.
The tailored programme is scheduled for 5 days and will cover what the role and responsibilities entail, communication, team working, information handling and recording. how to apply, VR headsets for interview guidance
The Awareness event will also consist of an English Assessment.
Money Matters & Budgeting Sessions - Thursday 18 September from 11am to 1pm (every 4 weeks)
Are you worried about your bank balance? Do you need help with how to manage your weekly bills?
Topics include:
- budgeting
- finding the best deals
- where to get help
This session will run every 4 weeks. Interested? Speak to a member of staff to book your place.
CV Writing & Job Searching Support (Digital Skills) - Thursday 18 September from 1pm to 3pm (every Thursday)
The purpose of the CV Writing & Job Searching Session is to support you to improve your digital skills in your journey into work, study or further training.
The Essential Skills team will facilitate sessions on accessing the internet, sending and receiving emails, creating CV and carrying out online job searches.
To get maximum benefit of the support available and work towards a qualification, the customer is encouraged to attend 2 consecutive sessions where possible.
Essential Skills Assessments - weekly sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am to 11.30am (recommences on 22 September!)
