Prioritisation process

If it is possible to progress a request, it is added to the parking restriction request list.  Requests on the list are then prioritised based on a number of factors, including:

  • road safety
  • congestion
  • type of request
  • type of parking problem
  • proximity to parking generator
  • cost (including running / maintenance costs) and availability of funding
  • level of complexity
  • site survey
