78122: Volunteer Coordinator

Salary: £20,327.43 Per annum 
Hours: Part time 
Location: Coventry CV6 

Vacancy details: 

  • Develop and implement strategies to recruit volunteers through various channels, including online platforms, community outreach, and networking
  • Maintain relationships with community organisations, and businesses to promote volunteer opportunities
  • Coordinate recruitment events and activities to attract a diverse pool of volunteers
  • Volunteer training and onboarding: Design and deliver orientation and training sessions for volunteers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfil their roles
  • Develop training materials, manuals, and resources to support volunteer learning and development
  • Conduct regular evaluations of training programs and make improvements as needed
  • Volunteer placement and management: Match volunteers with appropriate internal roles based on their skills, interests, and availability
  • Maintain a database of volunteer information, including contact details, availability, and preferences
  • Regularly communicate with volunteers to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or issues
  • Supervision and support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers to ensure they feel valued and engaged in their roles
  • Monitor volunteer performance and provide feedback, recognition, and opportunities for growth and development
  • Address any conflicts or challenges that may arise among volunteers and facilitate resolution
  • Administrative tasks: Maintain accurate records of volunteer hours, activities, and accomplishments
  • Ensure the relevant paperwork is completed from onboarding through to exit, including the completion of outcome starts monitoring
  • Prepare reports on volunteer participation, impact, and effectiveness for the leadership team
  • Write case studies to showcase volunteer’s journey
  • Ensure volunteers are signposted and connected to the relevant services
