A summary of the 'progress'
Out of the 88 performance indicators, there are 17 for which we cannot currently report progress compared to the position last year. For 8 of these, data for this year is not currently available at all. For another 6, we don’t have enough data to judge progress due to no data being available for last year, mainly because it's a new indicator, and for another 3 we cannot report on progress because they are contextual with no desirable direction of going up or down.
Out of the remaining 71 indicators, for which we can report progress, 62% (44) either improved or stayed the same.
A summary of the 'status against the target'
Out of the 88 performance indicators, there are 22 for which we cannot currently report their status against a target. For 8 of these data for this year is not currently available at all. For another 13 a target wasn’t set, some where there isn’t necessarily a desirable direction or target, others where the indicator is new; and for another 1 there isn’t enough data yet to judge the status because the target is to improve and the indicator is new.
Out of the remaining 66 indicators, for which we can report status against target, 68% (45) are ‘On-Target’.
For some the status against the target is effectively the same at the ‘progress’ status because the target is simply ‘to improve’, for others specific targets are set so the status may be different.
